When Berlin-based conceptual artists Renata Stih and Frieder Schnock depict an airplane in the sky, it is no menacing warplane -- it is the so-called American "Raisin Bomber," which was beloved by Germans during the Airlift of 1948-1949 because it deposited sweets (not bombs) to the hungry children of Berlin.
